User information Doka heavy-duty supporting system SL-1
Spindle struts SL-1 T16
● Four sizes with usable lengths of 100 cm to
375 cm
● Overlap with next size: 55 cm
● Couplers for connecting up the scaffolding-tube
bracing are permanently attached
Connections
The spindle struts are bolted in place with a Con-
necting pin SL-1 D32 100 and secured with a Spring
cotter 6mm.
● For details of how to connect to the heavy-duty
supporting units, see "Connecting to the System
beam SL-1".
● The spindle struts can be bolted directly onto the
Multi-purpose waling SL-1 WU16.
Overlap
By choosing the right spindle strut from the 4 avail-
able overlapping lengths, the optimum striking-dis-
tance can be obtained.
Example:
Requirements:
● Usable length during pouring: 260 cm
● Max. lowering distance (for cleaning)
Possible types of spindle strut:
a ... Lowering distance 90 cm
b ... Lowering distance 40 cm
In this situation, the shorter spindle strut should be
selected, as this results in a larger lowering dis-
tance.
Bracing
Fit bracing to all the scaffolding-tube couplings on
each spindle strut.

The scaffolding-tube couplings that are per-
manently attached to the spindle strut make
it much easier to mount the bracing.
