"Y'

valve

is

installed between

the

pumpout

plate

and

the

macerator

dis-

charge seacock.

The

macerator pump

is

located berween

the

uy" valve

and

the

macera

tor

discharge

seacock.

In

this

configuration

all

waste

is

Oushed from

the

head

to

the

holding

tank

.

The

"Y' valve

permits

you

to

use

the

dockside

pumpout

feature,

or

to use the

macerator

to

pump

the

waste from

the

holding

tank

overboard

.

IMPORTANT

Overboard

discharge

of

waste

should

on

ly

be

used

in approved

areas

.

It

is your responsibility to com-

ply with local regulations

regarding

the

discharge

of

waste.

To

pump

out

the

holding

tank

using the

ma

c

erator

pump

:

First,

open

the

I" seacock labeled MACERATOR DISCHARGE, which

is

located

under

the

engine

hatch.

Second,

move the I valve lever

the

overboard position.
