13. CHECK OIL LEVEL IN TRANSMISSION.
TRANSFER AND DIFFERENTIAL
Remove the filler plug and feel inside the hole with your
finger. Check that the o
il comes to within 5 mm (0.20 in .)
of the b ottom edge of the hole. If th e le ve l is low, a dd oil
until it begins to run out of the fi ller ho le.
Transmission and transfer oil -
Oil grade: API GL-4 or GL-5
Viscosity:
SAE 90
Differential oil -
Oil grade : API GL -5 hypo id gear oil
Viscosity: Above - 18°C
(O° F) SAE 90
Below - 1S oC IO ° FI SAE SOW-90
or BOW
14. REPLACE TRANSMISSION. TRANSFER AND
DIFFERENTIAL OIL
( a) Remove the dr ai n p lu g and drain th e oi l.
(b) Reinstall the drain p lu g.
(c) Add new
