REFERENCE NOTE: Ensure always correct polarity for all connections.
Don’t connect any speaker cables to the vehicle’s ground.
Loudspeaker- and Audio-Connections
Connect the RCA INPUTS of the amplifier to the head unit line outputs with appropriate RCA cables.
Connect the Subwoofer with the speaker outputs (SPEAKER OUTPUT/ - +) of the amplifier by using appropriate
cables.
Ensure that the total speaker impedance load is not lower than 1 Ohms.
Too low speaker loads result in too high heat development and may cause the amplifier run into protection.
INPUT LEVEL - controller
• Turn the INPUT LEVEL - controller on the amplifier to 5V position.
• Turn the head unit volume controller to about 80-90% of its full setting.
• Turn the INPUT LEVEL - controller clockwise until you hear some distortion.
• Then turn back the INPUT LEVEL - controller slightly until you can hear clean sound.
REFERENCE NOTE: If this controller is cranked up too high, the amplifier produce distortions, which may cause a
“creeping death” of the amplifier (or the speakers). Usually this is called “Clipping”.
LOWPASS - controller
The lowpass filter eliminates the higher frequencies. The recommended crossover frequency ranges between 60-100Hz,
depending on the size and response of the Subwoofer.
SUBSONIC - controller
• The SUB SONIC controller (Subsonicfilter) limits the ultralow and not hearable frequencies of the audiosignal to below,
to avoid a mechanical and electrical overloading on the subwoofer. The cut-off frequency is adjustable from 15 to 55 Hz
and depends on the size of the subwoofer.
BASS BOOST - controller
• The BASS BOOST - controller adjusts the bass boost level at 45 Hz from 0db to +12dB.
Caution! Please use the Bass Boost carefully.
Connect the RCA cable from head-unit
or a additional multichannel-amplifier
with RCA input
Connect cable from REMOTE CONTROL
with the input jack of the amplifier.
Subwoofer 1 - 8 Ohms
The optional RCA Fullrange Outputs
(OUTPUT) are forwarding the audiosignal.
A additional subwoofer can be
connected to the non-occupied
speaker outputs. In this case
ensure a impedance of 2 - 8
ohms per subwoofer.
