CONNECTING THE INTERFACE
Follow these steps to properly install the interface module.
Step 1 - Remove the RADIO panel to gain access to the factory 20-PIN Harnesses. You will need to locate the CAN wire on the
vehicle. Page 2 will give you the full details on how to connect.
Step 2 - Using the provided 8-PIN Harness, you will need to connect the DATA Wire from the vehicle harness to the module, connect
the two YELLOW
wires on the 8-PIN harness. See chart below for wire descriptions.
8-PIN LOOSE WIRES
RED = 12V Constant
BLACK = Ground
YELLOW = Data Output (To Radio)
YELLOW/BLACK = Data Input (From Car)
MAKE SURE THE DATA WIRE
CONNECTIONS ARE CONNECTED
PROPERLY.
FACTORY CAN WIRE IS LOCATED ON THE
FACTORY 20-PIN LOCATED BELOW THE
SCREEN.
