Installing Cruz Bay tiles
Installing our tiles is easy! Just follow standard approaches to installing
mosaic tiles. Cruz Bay tiles are simply taken out of the box, adhered down
on the surface of a wall or oor in an interlocking pattern and then grout-
ed. Each piece ts into the adjoining piece like a puzzle and the result is a
seamless natural stone surface. Finally, a sealer can be applied to enhance
and protect the nish.

Tips and Recommendations
• Grout: We recommend using a sanded grout. Popular colors are “An-
tique White”(light stones) or “Natural Grey”(dark stones)
• Sealers: We recommend using water based, low sheen, matte nish
penetrating stone sealers. Stones hue can be aected by sealers so test
on a single piece rst.
• Cutting Tiles: Stones can be cut using a standard wet saw designed for
cutting tile.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Annual resealing is recommended and
cleaning should be done with products specic to natural stone.
