The factory default Call Counter access code is
12, but it may be changed if you desire.
Please refer to the section entitled User
Programmable Codes.

The number you enter as an “Access Code”
should be written down and stored safely!
Call Time Warning Tone
A time warning tone can be set to alert you to the elapsed
time of a call. The tone will sound a single beep every
minute (and a double beep every 5 minutes) during a call.
üü To toggle the Warning Tone on or off, press “FNC,
*,1” while not in use. The letters “Beep On or
“Beep OFF will appear in the display to indicate the
mode’s current setting.

This mode can not be changed during a
conversation.
u System A/B Indication for AMPS
If you want to know the current mode, press “FNC”, “6”, “5”.
Status indicator shows the current mode.
u User Programmable Codes
üü There are 3 user-programmable codes used for data
preservation and security purposes. The fact that they
are “User programmable” allows the user to change
these numbers, customize the system and further the
security benefits. To change a code from the factory
setting or previously modified setting, press “FNC,
#,5”, and enter the number of the corresponding
mode you wish modified (refer to “mode # in the table
below). The mode name will appear in the display
followed by the letter “P. At this point enter the
factory setting or (if previously modified) the current
setting. The letter “n will replace the P in the display
