2.8 FIB1-1000
The FIB1-1000 is a Gigabit Ethernet media converter that supports 1000Base-TX
and converts to 1000Base-LX or SX (fiber). The UTP and fiber sides support forced
setting for full or half duplex. The front panel DIP switch is also used to enable or
disable the link loss forwarding function or to perform loop back test with another
connected FIB1-1000 converter. When the FIB1-1000 is placed in the FRM301 with
SNMP, the settings are controlled by the chassis management system and any DIP
settings are ignored.

1 Mode Forces fiber and UTP to Full or Half Duplex
2 LBT Initiates a loop back test with other fiber connected unit
3 LLF Enables or disables the link loss forwarding function
