Menu System Detail
To enter "terminal mode", a password may be required. Normally, there is no password set
from the factory. The superuser password for the "terminal mode" is "1021". The user
password provides security to protect the system. From a Telnet connection, if you enter the
wrong password three times, the security system will not allow any login again for 15 minutes.
After entering the correct password, you will see the main menu display on the screen as
follows :

'1' to '9', 'A' to 'G': I/O Cards Setting
'P': Show Fans and Powers Status

The card status of all slots in the rack is shown. If a valid card is found in the slot,
the slot status will identify the card. If no card is found, the slot status will display
"Empty". As we can see in the above example, sixteen cards are inserted in the rack.
No card slots are empty. The immediate, 'Command Function', shown in the middle
of the display, is to display the status of the I/O cards. The cards are number 1~16,
right to left and can be selected with single keyin of 1~9 or A~G. Remember, cards
are numbered right to left from the FRONT of the chassis. Pressing the card number
will immediately display card's status. The other function keys are explained below.
P: this key will immediately display the status of the power supplies and all fans.
R: this key will refresh the display.
ESC: the escape key will logout of the terminal mode.
M: the 'M' key will enter the Manager Configuration screen, where the manager
workstation IP is configured and the trap destinations may be setup.
S: the 'S' key enters the System Configuration screen, where the SNMP card's
networking settings are configured.
The console line displays the connected status of any Telnet or GUI session.
