4.33.5 Gigabit Ethernet Line Card Settings
Click the channel button for a 1000E Gigabit line card to view and configure the
local line card. Under the GUI, the card's status, UTP speed, Tx/Rx Duplex mode
and LLF function may be read or modified.

The functions are very similar to those of the 1000 Ethernet converter. The 1000E
supports forced UTP speeds of 10, 100, or 1000 as well as auto-negotiation mode.
Note the 'Command Set' can enable/disable the channel, set the fiber full or half
duplex, and enable/disable the Link Loss Forwarding function. Note also that the
options for 10/100/1000 and Full/Half are greyed out because 'Auto' has been
selected. When connected to an FIB1-1000E, the loop back and get remote status
functions may be used as well.
