WHAT YOU WILL NEED AT THE RADIO SITE

9 CPS (Customer Programming Software) & Programming Cable

9 Fixed IP Address for each TurboVUi IP Gateway
Contact your IT administrator to provide the following IP Network Parameters for the TurboVUi IP Gateway
module:

9 Port Forwarding on Router/Firewall
If TurboVUi Solo Clients will be placed outside your organization’s Local Area Network, the IT Administrator
must configure port forwarding within the routers connecting the TurboVUi IP Gateway module to the ISP
(Internet Service Provider). The factory default port # is 48222. If a single TurboVUi IP Gateway is being
installed on a network, then port forwarding should be set for Port # 48222. If multiple TurboVUi IP Gateways are
being installed on a single network, then a port should be assigned for each Gateway.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED AT A REMOTE CLIENT SITE
PCs that will be used to run the TurboVUi Solo Client Software must have the following:
9 Windows XP or Vista Operating System
9 Speaker (internal to PC or powered external) or Headphones
9 Microphone – Choose one of the following options
USB external mic (recommended), such as:
Logitech USB Desktop Microphone #980189-0403 or CTI # 99-12130
Dynex or Rocketfish Digital USB Microphone, available from Best Buy
Gigaware USB Desktop Microphone #33-124, available from Radio Shack
Analog external mic
Internal mic (not recommended)
