Hitch Kit — 19A70025100/490-950-C044
Model 19A70025100/490-950-C044 hitch kit is designed for use
with certain Cub Cadet Zero-Turn Riding Mowers.
Carton Contents
Before beginning installation, remove all parts from the carton
to make sure everything is present. Carton contents are listed
below. Part numbers are shown in parentheses.
• Two 5/16“ Hex Screws (710-3008)
• Two 5/16“ Center Lock Nuts (712-04339)
• One Hitch Bracket (703-07543C-0637)
• Four Flat Washers (936-0140)
Installation Instructions
WARNING! Before beginning installation, place
the mower on a firm and level surface, set the
parking brake, place the PTO in the disengaged
(OFF) position, stop the mower’s engine and remove
the ignition key to prevent unintended starting.
WARNING! If the engine has been recently run, the
engine, muffler and surrounding metal surfaces will
be hot and can cause burns to the skin. Exercise
caution to avoid burns.
1. Remove the bumper by removing the four hex screws that
secure it to the tractor frame. See Figure 1-1.

2. Remove the muffler shield, and then the heat shield from
the bumper as shown in Figure 1-2.

3. Secure the hitch bracket and the heat shield to the mower’s
rear bumper with the hardware included. See Figure 1-3.
If the holes in the heat shield protrude, install the flat
washers over the protrusions.

4. Reinstall the muffler shield. Refer to Figure 1-2.
5. Reinstall the bumper using the hex screws removed
in step 1. Refer to Figure 1-1
