NOTE: References to left, right, front and rear of the assemblies are from operator’s position, unless
otherwise stated.
1. Remove two outer-most carriage bolts and hex flange lock nuts from blade
assembly and set aside. See Figure 2.
NOTE: Save removed hardware for reinstallation.
2. For right blade extension, attach one blade
extension scraper plate (789-02997) to lower
portion of one blade extension (789-03257) with
two carriage bolts (710-0451) and two hex flange
lock nuts (712-04063), positioning scraper plate
so it sits flush with right outside portion of blade
extension. See Figure 3.
3. For left blade extension, repeat Step 2 with
remaining blade extension scraper plate, blade
extension and associated hardware, positioning
scraper plate so it sits flush with left outside
portion of blade extension. See Figure 4.
4. Attach right blade extension assembly to right side of blade assembly with the
following steps:
a. Align portion of the right
blade extension assembly
not covered by blade
extension scraper plate
with backside of right side
of blade.
b. Secure using three
carriage bolts (710-0451)
and three hex flange
lock nuts (712-04063)
(including one carriage
bolt and one hex flange
lock nut removed in Step
1). See Figure 5.
5. Attach left blade extension assembly to left side of blade assembly with the
following steps:
a. Align portion of the left
blade extension assembly
not covered by blade
extension scraper plate
with backside of left side
of blade.
b. Secure using three
carriage bolts (710-0451)
and three hex flange
lock nuts (712-04063)
(including remaining
carriage bolt and hex
flange lock nut removed in
Step 1). See Figure 6.
