1. Clear valve stem hole in rim of any corrosion or dirt. Ensure there is a clean
smoothsurfaceforthematingoftheP‐TPMSsensorscrew(fig.1),rubberwasher
andvalvecoreassembly(fig.3),P‐TPMSwasher(fig.4),andP‐TPMSnut(fig.5)to
therim.
2. Remove P‐TPMS sensor screw (fig.1),washers(fig.4) and nut(fig.5) from P‐TPMS
sensorvalvestemassembly(fig.3)
3. WhileholdingP‐TPMSsensorbody(fig.2),thegrey(plastic)sideofP‐TPMSsensor
facing the tire, push P‐TPMS sensor valve stem(fig.3) through rim by hand until
P‐TPMSrubberwasher(fig.3)meetsinsideedgeofrim.
4. Lockthe P‐TPMS sensor(fig.2)andP‐TPMSsensor valvestemassembly together
byscrew(fig.1)
5. Hold P‐TPMS sensor body (fig.2) down against the rim drop center and
thread/tighten P‐TPMS sensor washer(fig.4) and nut(fig.5) to 35 inch‐pounds，
andtightenP‐TPMSsensorscrewandvalveassembly(fig.3)to9.7inch‐pounds.

Each time a tire is serviced or dismounted, or if the P‐TPMS sensor (fig.2) is
removed,it is MANDATORYtoreplace theP‐TPMSsensor washer(fig.4),P‐TPMS
sensor nut(fig.5), and P‐TPMS sensor valve core(fig.3) with CUB parts(use only
CUB service component kits designed for P‐TPMS sensor) to ensure proper
sealing.
ItisMANDATORYtoreplacetheP‐TPMSsensorifitisexternallydamaged.
Warning: The P‐TPMS sensor nut must be properly installed and tightened for
proper installation. Carefully follow instructions and use a torque wrench to
ensureproperinstallation.FailuretotorquetheP‐TPMSsensornutproperlywill
voidthewarr antyandtheTPMSmaynotfunctionproperly.
CorrectP‐TPMSsensornuttorque:35inch‐pounds,correctP‐TPMSsensorscrew
torque:9.7inch‐pounds.
P‐TPMS SENSOR AND/OR P‐TPMS SENSOR VALVE STEMS BROKEN BY
OVERTORQUE ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. FAILURE TO ACHIEVETHE
NECESSARY P‐TPMS SENSOR NUT TORQUE MAY RESULT IN AN INADEQUATE AIR
SEAL,RESULTINGINTIREAIRLOSS.
