Controllers Overview
The ipCUE family is a new generation of Ethernet IP en-
abled controllers. These controllers are well suited from
single-room to huge multi-room, multi-oor distributed
control applications. All models come with multiple
control ports well suited for home applications as well
as commercial. The control ports include bi-directional
serial ports congurable as RS-232/422/485, serial
outputs, infrared outputs up to 1.2 MHz, general I/O
ports that can be congured as digital outputs or analog
inputs, and 24 volts relay outputs. The Ethernet port
allows for bi-directional IP control of any manufacturer
IP enabled products. The ipCUEs are compatible with
CUE range of button panels and touch panels through
and comes equipped with a CUEwire port. The ipCUE-
alpha, ipCUE-beta, ipCUE-delta and ipCUE-epsilon are
equipped with internal IR sensors which allow capture IR
codes and receive IR codes from hand-held transmitters.
Convenient for testing and troubleshooting all models
also come with indicator LEDs on the front panel that
indicate the status of all the control ports. The ipCUEs
keep perfect time with its onboard real time clock (RTC)
and thus allowing for a wide variety of distributed intel-
ligence scheduling applications. All ipCUE controllers
come complete with a web-server and allows for setup,
conguration, and testing through a standard web
browser. This web-based interface allows for the graphi-
cal monitoring and control of all ports, which provides a
truly time saving method for testing and troubleshooting.
