descriPtion
The PEF150 is exclusively designed interface for uorescent
lamp dimming ballasts with DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting
Interface) protocol. This protocol offers the possibility to individu-
ally address up to 64 regulating ballasts on a single bus and up
to 15 independent groups. The control of all groups is performed
by PEbus. PEF150 is compatible with DALI ballasts produced by
major manufacturers such as Philips, Osram, Triondic, Helvar,
etc. The unit can be controlled by PEbus and by potential free
contact inputs. Potential free contact inputs offer a control of two
groups by external buttons or recall four different scenes. The
same function is possible with test buttons located on the front
panel. The programmable parameters are input response, mini-
mum and maximum output level of light and dimming speed,
light scenes. One of the advantages is that there is no need to
connect dimming ballasts into groups since all of them are con-
nected by a twin-core cable and later with the software congu-
ration is determined in which group the luminary will belong to.
This means that the light conguration can be easily changed
after a room light modication. The light conguration is per-
formed by PEX program. As far as the bus control is concerned
each group is assigned an address as to other units and then the
group follows standard CUE commands for light. The front panel
includes LED indicators for the power supply and output level.
The enclosure allows simple installation on a DIN rail.
