FEATURES AND BENEFITS 1. D ual Toasting Slots 1½-inch slots will accommodate a wide variety of bread types. 2. L ever with QuickView™ Feature Press down the lever to begin toasting. Lift lever at any time and observe the browning shade status without interrupting the toasting cycle (see page 5). 3. BEFORE FIRST USE GENERAL OPERATION Unwind the power cord. Check that the crumb tray is in place and that there is nothing in the toaster slots. Plug power cord into the wall outlet. 1. Insert slice(s) of bread Be sure that the lever is in the up position. REVEAL SCREEN TECHNOLOGY 2. Select desired bread options BAGEL, DEFROST, and/or SINGLE. The control panel becomes invisible when unit is in idle mode – making this a statement piece in your kitchen.
FUNCTIONS QuickView™ The QuickView™ feature allows you to check on the toasting progress without interrupting the cycle. Simply lift the high-lift lever to temporarily raise and view your bread, and then release lever to automatically lower and continue toasting. +30 Seconds The +30 Secs function allows you to extend the toasting time by 30 seconds. If selected during toasting cycle: • The +30 Secs icon will go from semi-lit to fully lit and start flashing. Current shade countdown will be paused.
TIPS AND HINTS CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Notes on Browning Toasting is a combination of cooking and drying of the bread. Therefore, differences in moisture level from one item to another can result in varying toasting times. Always allow the toaster to cool completely before cleaning. 1. Always unplug the toaster from the electrical outlet before cleaning. 2. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Simply wipe the exterior with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
