Simple Syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
Put sugar and water together in a
saucepan over medium heat. Bring
to a boil and reduce to a simmer until
sugar is completely dissolved, about 2
to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and
chill completely.
Simple syrup keeps for 2 weeks in an
airtight container in the refrigerator.
