MARK 100 WATER SOFTENER
Backwash Flow Control
Refer to Figure 7 and the following instructions for replacement of the backwash flow control:
1. Remove the drain elbow retaining clip from the valve body.
2. Pull the drain elbow from the valve body.
3. Remove the flow control from the valve body control and replace with a new flow restrictor.
NOTICE: the number on the backwash flow control should face into the valve body.
4. Reverse the procedure to reassemble. Be certain that the replacement is the correctly sized flow restrictor.
Eductor Assembly
Refer to Figure 7 and the following instructions for replacement of the eductor:
1. Remove the three screws and the eductor plate
2. Remove the eductor screen by lifting it from the eductor body.
3. Remove the eductor body by grasping one of the projections with the pliers and gently pulling upward.
4. Reverse the procedure to reassemble. Be certain that the replacement eductor body contains the correct
eductor nozzle.
