To prevent injury due to accidental startup:
• Do not connect the battery cables to the battery until the installation has been
completed;
• Make sure tools, rags, and body parts are kept away from any rotating parts or
electrically live parts; and
• Make sure it is time to start the generator set.
NOTICE
Ensure that the AC power to the battery charger is disconnected when
installing the battery.
NOTICE
Wear proper safety protection when working around batteries. Keep open
flames and sparks away from the equipment.
NOTICE
Only personnel knowledgeable of batteries and required precautions should
perform or supervise battery servicing.
