WARNING
When using solvents, acids, or alkaline materials for
cleaning, follow the manufacturer's recommendations
for use. Wear goggles and protective clothing to
reduce the possibility of personal injury.
Thoroughly clean the area around the pressure regulator
plug with clean solvent to prevent debris from falling into
the plunger bore when the plug is removed.
Remove the pressure regulator, nut, valve plug, spring,
and plunger.
Service Tip: The plunger normally can be removed by
inserting a finger into the plunger bore until snug and
pulling up. If the plunger can not be removed in this
manner, the plunger is probably stuck and will require
removal of the housing.
