Remove
NOTE: Keep the gasket material, and any other material
out of the air intake.
Remove the six capscrews that hold the upper part of the
intake manifold to the lower part.
CAUTION
There is a captive capscrew (1) in this manifold, the
captive capscrew must be removed after the other
five capscrews have been removed, to prevent
damage to the intake manifold.
Remove the lower part of the intake manifold.
If the air intake manifold will be off for a prolonged period
of time, tape off the intake manifold opening to prevent
debris from entering the intake system.
NOTE: Keep the gasket material, and any other material
out of the air intake.
Remove the air intake manifold capscrews and remove
the air intake manifold.
If the engine has an integral cold-starting aid, remove it.
