Parameter Identifier Description Screen
In order to view the Parameter Identifier (PID) Description
screen, tap the row of the desired parameter. The Description
screen contains several screen objects, each pointed out in the
picture below and described in the paragraphs that follow.
J1587 Parameter Number
This is the SAE J1587 defined Parameter Identifier (PID)
number. This number is for reference purposes only; it does
NOT mean that this parameter is only available on J1587.
All QC C ONFIGURATOR parameters are SAE-defined for
both the J1587 and J1939 datalinks.
SAE Standard Description
This is based on the SAE-defined description of the
parameter.
