ARE TIGHT AND THAT ALL STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS ARE SOUND.

1. Remove (4) bumper bolts, bumper, shim plates and tow hooks (if equipped).
2. Remove lower front cross member (if equipped).
3. Place receiver hitch inside bumper and line up outside holes. See figure 1.
4. Using the hitch as a template mark the required drill holes. Drill holes with 5/8" drill bit. See figure 2.
5. Place hitch over the ends of frame rails.
6. Reinstall lower front cross member and tow hooks (if equipped).
7. Reinstall bumper using (4) bolts removed in step 1. Do not install shim plates and return to customer.
8. Place 1/2"-13 x 1 3/4" bolts along with a 1/2" washers in (4) drilled holes. Secure with SP16 spacers and 1/2"-13 handle nut as shown.
CAUTION: Hold drivers side handle nuts in place to prevent them from rotating into air conditioning condenser.
9. Torque all 1/2" fasteners to 110 lb-ft
