EXISTING FRAME STUDS
AND FLANGE NUTS
USE EXISTING HEX
FLANGE NUTS
TOW LOOP
REMOVE LOWER NUT ON THIS
SIDE AND NUT FROM INSIDE
(BOTH SIDES)
PASS BOLT THROUGH AND INTO POSITION
1) Remove hex flange nuts from end of frame rail (lowest 2 on each side) as shown above.
Re-use in step 4.
2) Lift hitch into position, locating the vehicle tow loop brackets under the hitch mounting plates.
3) Insert 5/8" bolts through the front plates and into position through the tow loops.
4) Loosely install 5/8" nuts and supplied spacers then reinstall the flange nuts removed in step 1.
5) Torque all 10mm fasteners to 48 lb-ft and all 5/8" fasteners to 180 lb-ft.
- NO DRILLING REQUIRED
