All steps must be followed to ensure the CURT brake control

harness will function properly. Once installed, test for proper

function by following the brake control unit instruction manual.

INSTALLATION / SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Step 1 Locate the felt liner under the dash, to the left of the steering column. Remove the two plastic fasteners securing the liner (A). Behind the felt liner, locate the vehicle brake control harness connector. It will be attached to the top of a junction box (B). The connector will be similar to that on the CURT brake control harness. Step 2 Insert the connector on the CURT brake control harness into the vehicle connector.
