Step 1
Remove the panel below the three button panel. Start at the top
left corner near the steering wheel, pulling outward, releasing
the tabs that are holding the panel in place one at a time (A,B).
Step 2
Repeat step two for the three button panel (C).
Step 3
Locate the white, vehicle brake control harness connector behind
the three button panel (D). The connector will be similar to that
on the CURT brake control harness. Insert the connector on the
CURT brake control harness into the vehicle connector. Make
sure the connector is fully inserted with locking tabs in place (E).
Step 4
Route the brake control harness along the back of the dash
and out the bottom to the brake control unit. Insert the brake
control harness's black connector into the brake control's quick
plug connector (F). Secure the brake control harness with the
provided cable ties, avoiding any pinch points.
Step 5
Reinstall the removed panels from Steps 1 and 2.
Step 6
Complete the installation using the brake control instructions.
Mount the unit as directed and perform test procedures as
instructed in the brake control user manual.
