All steps must be followed to ensure the wiring connector will

using a test light or connecting a properly wired trailer.

INSTALLATION / SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Step 1 Locate the vehicle taillight wiring harness connector behind the driver-side rear bumper, as shown on the vehicle location wiring diagram on page 1. The connector will be similar to that on the custom wiring connector. Remove the protective dust cover and clean any debris from the connector. Step 2 Insert the custom wiring connector into the vehicle connector. Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
