If copying/pasting, eye-drop this text to
ensure a uniform look for all installation
paragraphs.
1. Open the tailgate and on the drivers side
remove the two hex head bolts securing the
taillight assembly. Remove the taillight
assembly separate the connectors making
sure not to damage the locking tabs.
Repeat on the passenger side.
2. On the driver’s side place the T-connector
end with the yellow wire between vehicle
harness and the taillight assembly make sure
the connectors are fully inserted with locking
tabs in place.
3. Route the green wire and the 4-Flat wire
down through the opening under the
taillight assembly. Then along the backside
of the bumper to the passenger side and up
through the opening under the taillight
assembly. Repeat step 2 using the green
wire. Re-assemble the taillights on both
sides.
4. Route the 4-flat to the center of the
vehicle and secure in a convenient out of the
way location.
5. Locate a suitable grounding point near the
connector such as an existing screw with nut
in the vehicle’s frame or drill a 3/32” hole
and secure white wire using eyelet and screw
provided.
6. Adhere the black converter box to the
frame of the car using the double-sided tape
provided. Secure any loose parts of the
T-connector with the cable ties provided.
