Installation Guide

Step 1
Open the vehicle tailgate. Remove the two screws securing
each taillight housing (A). Gently pull out on the taillights to
locate the vehicle's taillight wiring harness connectors. The
connectors will be similar to those on the custom wiring
harness. Separate the connectors from the taillight housing
taking care not to damage the locking tabs (B).
Step 2
Inside the vehicle, remove the rear access panel from the driver
and passenger sides. Behind the panels, remove the foam
patches covering the openings to the taillights (C). Remove
the wire grommets between taillight and interior of vehicle (D).
Step 3
Starting on the driver side, route the custom wiring harness end
with the yellow wire out from the inside of the vehicle through
the grommet hole. Insert the wiring harness end with yellow wire
between the separated connectors. Make sure the connectors
are fully inserted with locking tabs in place. Make a small slit
in the grommet. Run the wire through the slit and re-install
grommet into opening.
Step 4
Open the rear cargo area storage compartment
remove the foam insert and remove push fasteners
covering the bolts in the bottom of the compartment (E,F).
