Turn on your TV and TELUS TV set top box.

Press and hold ; and then press – when both are released, the buttons will ﬂash 2 times.

Enter code on the number pad – the button will ﬂash 2 times.

Press and then the to link the 2 devices – the buttons will ﬂash 2 times.

Press . Your TV and Optik TV digital box will now power off with your new remote.

Congratulations – you’re done!

Programming your Optik TV

Find the remote user guide that came with your Optik TV remote.

Or reference the guide online telus.com/optikremote

On the reverse side of the guide, use the code table to locate

the correct code for your TV by looking up the brand and mode

(TV or HDTV). There may be more than one TV code listed.

Turn on TV.

Press and hold ; and then press

– when both are released, the buttons will ﬂash 2 times.

Enter TV code on the number pad - the button will ﬂash 3 times.

Press and your TV will now power off with your remote.

If your TV does not turn off, repeat steps 3-5 with the next code

that’s available for your TV. Repeat these steps until you have found

the correct code and your TV powers off.
