Our Commercial 100% Silicone Caulk is permanently flexible and is
designed for use in coves, corners, changes in plane and expansion
joints associated with exterior or interiors applications of tile and
stone. Can be used in pools and other wet applications. Conforms to
ASTM C-920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 25, Use T, NT, A, I, M and G,
ASTM C1248 and ASTM C-794 properties. Conforms to TCNA
Handbook EJ 171.

General Surface Prep
USE CHEMICAL-RESISTANT GLOVES, such as nitrile, when
handling product.
Application of Product
Sealant should be installed after grout has cured. Joints and surfaces
should be clean, dry and free of all contamination including old caulk or
other sealants. Backup strips shall be flexible and compressible type of
closed-cell foam polyethylene, butyl rubber, or urethane. Backup strip
should fit tightly in the joint and to a depth that allows the caulk depth
to be 1/2 the thickness of the tile. Cut tip off nozzle on a slant to
desired opening size. Completely fill joints with caulk. Smooth or clean
off excess caulk with mineral spirits or paint thinner before caulk
cures. After cure, remove excess with a razor blade. Do not apply
whentemperaturesfallbelow40°F(4°C).IMPORTANT:Commercial
100% Silicone Caulk is not a paintable surface. Painting should be
done prior to installation.
