SpiderWeb II is designed differently than bonded membranes. A layer of fabric is bonded to the
bottom of the mat to create an air space that helps channel moisture from the substrate below.
The plastic and fabric construction will absorb stress created from movement in the substrate
and preserve the integrity of the tile installation. The fleece on the surface of SpiderWeb II locks
the mortar into the mat, ensuring strong, reliable installation.
