Use and Care Manual:
SPREADING: A small amount of concentrated Cutting Edge Professional Ice Melt is needed to
effectively melt ice and snow. Depending on the amount of ice and snow present, sprinkle the
ice melt on ice and snow at the rate of 1lb to 4.5lb per 540squarefeet. Apply evenly.
Do not over apply and avoid piling. For best results shovel off resulting slush and water.
Reapply when needed.
Over-application may cause staining or damage.
SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN: Apply early to prevent ice buildup.
WET/HEAVY SNOW: Apply early to prevent bonding.
LARGE ACCUMULATION: Clear excess snow, spread on stubborn ice or packed snow.
Use gloves and goggles when applying product. Keep bag tightly closed – contents are
hydroscopic.
