Managing Media
Chapter 4:
This chapter outlines the media management features available in CyberLink
MediaShow, including organizing media files and folders, tagging people's faces in
photos, adding and editing keyword tags, and more.
Managing Media Files
When you are viewing the media thumbnails in the media library, there are several
management options available. Double click on a folder/face/tag/album etc. in the
media library to display all of the photos and videos inside.
Right-click on any of the media files to mange them as follows:
Note: many of the management options are available any time you right-click on a
media file in the media window.
Edit: edit the selected media file. See Editing Media for more information.
Rename: select to rename the media file.
Set As Album Cover: select to use the media file's thumbnail image as the
cover for the folder in the library.
Add to Album: add the selected media file to a specified album. See Albums
for more information.
Add Tag: select to add a keyword tag to the selected media file. See Adding
Tags for more information.
Tag Faces: select to tag faces in the selected photo. See Tagging Faces for
more information.
Change 3D Format: if the selected media file is 3D content, select this option
to manually set the 3D video format if it is not displaying properly during
playback. The following 3D formats are available:
Auto Detect: select this option to have CyberLink MediaShow automatically
detect the video format of the 3D content for you.
Side by Side Format: select this option if the 3D content has two different
video images side by side. The two images are merged together during
playback to produce the 3D effect.
