4. Click on the Import Text File button .
5. Select the text file that you want to import and then click on the
Open button. The text will be imported into the subtitle entries.
• Format the subtitle text as required by clicking the Format
Subtitle button .
• To remove a subtitle, select the subtitle marker and then
click the Remove subtitle button .
Syncing Subtitles with Dialogue
To ensure that the subtitles in your movie production sync with the
video dialogue, CyberLink PowerDirector provides a number of options
for specifying the location.
To set a starting time for a subtitle:
• enter a time code in the Starting Time column for the subtitle.
• position your cursor at the beginning of the subtitle marker on
Subtitle Track and drag the front of the clip to the new position.
To set an ending time for a subtitle:
• enter a time code in the Ending Time column for the subtitle.
• position your cursor at the end of the subtitle marker on Subtitle
Track and drag the end of the clip to the new position.
