3. Click . The DV Backup dialog box opens.
4. Select the DV camcorder from the drop-down you would like to
backup if more than one is attached.
5. Select the burning drive from the Select backup destination
drop-down.
6. Click the Option button to configure the following burning
configuration options:
Select a recording speed.
The Include buffer under-run protection option ensures
that your drive writes without errors when your hard drive is
busy or system resources are low.
7. In the Set backup time drop-down, select whether to:
backup the entire contents of the DV tape that is currently
in your DV camcorder.
backup from the current position on the tape to the end of
the tape.
backup a specified amount of time (in minutes) from the
current position.
8. Set the backup profile for the DV video. See "Profile Options for
Video Clips" on page 20 for more information on setting profiles
for MPEG-2 files.
