Playing Video Discs in PowerDVD
When you insert a video disc (Blu-ray Disc, DVD, VCD, SVCD) into your
disc drive, CyberLink PowerDVD will play it automatically. If there is a
disc already in your disc drive when you opened CyberLink PowerDVD,
click and then select the drive that contains the disc if necessary
and then click Play.
Auto-resume
If you stop or close CyberLink PowerDVD during disc playback, even
play other files or discs immediately afterwards, the next time you play
that specific disc title, you may resume from the last viewed scene.
The auto-resume feature remembers exactly where you left off the last
time you watched the disc. The auto-resume feature provides you with
the following options:
select Resume to continue from the point where you previously
stopped watching.
select Restart to watch the disc from the beginning.
use a remote control, notebook touch pad, your keyboard, or
click and drag a thumbnail with your mouse to scroll through the
chapter thumbnails in FancyView. Select a specific chapter to
begin play back from that chapter.
Note: The resume function is not supported for video files and only for DVD
files located on the hard drive if an IFO file is present.
If you do not wish to see this feature every time you insert a disc, you
can configure the Auto-resume settings on the Player settings tab. See
"Player Settings" on page 78 for more information.
