1. Double-click on the scene in the scene/effect panel that you want
to record the audio for.
2. Click the button and then click on .
3. Make sure that your recording device, such as a microphone, is
connected to your computer.
4. Use the playback controls to find the exact moment in your scene
where you would like the record the audio.
5. In the Record audio section of the music window, click on the
button.
Note: Use the microphone slider to adjust the input volume for your
recording device.
6. Click on the button to stop recording and add the audio
to your scene. The added audio icon will display indicating
that audio was added to the scene.
Note: The duration the effect will be displayed depends on the default
settings specified on the Movie Remix tab. See "Editing Audio Properties" on
page 70 for information on editing its duration and other properties.
