Adding SNMP Traps
The T
Traps List Table
lists IP addresses of SNMP agents to which the router will
send trap messages (notifications) and allows several operations on the SNMP
agents.
To add a new trap:
STEP 1 In the T

STEP 2 Enter the IP Address of the SNMP manager or trap agent.
STEP 3 Enter the SNMP trap port of the IP address to which the trap messages will be
sent.
STEP 4 Enter the community string to which the agent belongs. Most agents are
configured to listen for traps in the Public community.
STEP 5 Choose the SNMP Version: v

Configuring Access Control Rules
The SNMP Access Control List is a table of access rules that enables read-only or
read-write access for select IP addresses in a defined SNMP agent's community.
