425A Rear Leg

Installation Instructions
NOTE: This instruction sheet describes how to
replace the Rear Leg in the Arc Trainer 425A.
Tools Required
Phillips screwdriver
7/32” Allen wrench (2)
Rubber mallet and punch (optional)
Grease
1. Read and understand all instructions thoroughly
before installing this kit.
2. Verify kit contents. See Figure 1.

4. Remove rear leg.
A. Using two 7/32” Allen wrenches, remove the
inside BHSCS, spacer and plastic end cap.
While holding the rear leg, remove the pivot
pin. NOTE: You may need a rubber mallet
and punch to remove the pivot pin.
NOTE: Older units have an aluminum end cap
and do not have a spacer.
B. Carefully lower the rear leg. See Figure 3.

3. Remove BHSCS, spacer and end cap.
A. Using a 7/32” Allen wrench, remove the
BHSCS (Button Head Socket Cap Screw),
spacer and end cap securing the rear leg
to the foot bar. See Figure 2.
NOTE: Older units have an aluminum end cap
and do not have a spacer.
