STRUCTURE AND OPTIONS
The m enu settings have two levels. There are twelve item s on the handset and on the
base unit respectively in the first level and the num ber of item s in the second level
depends on the first level menu.
Note: The settings are independent on the base unit and each handset.
MENU FUNCTIONS
Registration
You m ust first set the base unit to registration m ode prior to adding or deleting handsets.
Sim ply press [MENU] on the base unit to selectRegistration then press [O.K.] to
confirm . (refer to page 17) The base unit will return to standby m ode if no handset
registration takes place within 25 seconds.
To add a handset to a desired base
Press [MENU] on the handset during standby.
Using [ ] / [ ] to selectREGISTRATION.
Press [O.K.] to enter into the selection.
In the second level, using [ ] / [ ] to accessADD A
HANDSET?
Follow the steps of REGISTRATION OF HANDSET in
GETTING STARTED.
Note: If a new base is selected, the original registration will be replaced by the new
registration.
To delete a handset from the base
In the second level, using [ ] / [ ] to selectDEL
HANDSET?.
Press [O.K.] to de-register the handset.
UNREGISTERED! appears on the display to confirm
handset de-registration. The handset returns to
REGISTRATION after 2 seconds. Press [EXIT] to
return andHS_ _ is displayed.
