User Interface
Controls and Indicators
Cygnus™ has controls and indicators as follows:
•
A three-character seven-segment display
•
4 push buttons: Menu, (-), (+), and Enter
•
Power (red) and signal (green) indicator LEDs
The Menu button allows the user to switch between menus on the same level of
the menu tree. When the last menu option on a level is passed then the menu will
return up the tree one level (if a higher level exists). See the Menu Tree section
below.
The (+) and (-) buttons allow the user to change a selection for a single option in a
menu.
The Enter button allows the user to enter down into a submenu to change a
parameter or to accept the parameter currently displayed and return up one menu
level. Changes are saved in non-volatile memory when the Enter button is
pressed except when programming a user stand alone loop. Stand alone loop
parameters are saved when the Program Stand Alone menus are all exited and
control returns to the top menu level (where it displays “PSA”).
The red power indicator LED remains lit when the device is powered.
The green signal indicator LED flashes when a DMX or RDM signal is present. It
turns off 60 seconds after the last button press.
