5.1.10 Serial Interconnection between KitProg and Module
The KitProg is also a USB-Serial interface. It supports USB-UART and USB-I
2
C bridges (see
Figure 5-19). The pull-up resistors on the I
2
C bus are enabled when the protocol is selected from the
user interface (such as Bridge Control Panel). The USB-Serial pins of the KitProg are also available
on the Arduino header; therefore, it can be used to control Arduino shields with the SPI/I
2
C/UART
interface. Refer USB-UART Bridge on page 34 and USB-I2C Bridge on page 35 for more information
on how to use these serial interconnections.
