The last line is a final status request and possibly a response. When the exit bootloader command is
received, the target system immediately executes an internal reset and begins verifying the checksum for
the downloaded application. This is done using the parameters given in the checksum block. Depending
on the speed of the host system, the bootloader may already have begun its reset process before the
master is able to receive a valid status byte. For this reason, the status (0x20) may not always be present.
Instead, the address 0x71 may simply be NAK’ed.
