Editing Delay Settings
The delay adjustment tab
allows adjustment of the
input (base) delays, as well
as the output (driver/zone
alignment) delays.
All input and output delays
for the device are shown as
text boxes, allowing
numerical values to be
directly entered.
Additionally the values may
be nudged, using the spin
buttons below the Step Size
pane.
The smallest step size will depend on the unit type – for DP224/6/6i it is 2.6uS, and for 4 Series units it is 100nS!
Note that, dependant on the type of device selected, and configuration of that device, delays may be ganged, if required.
Device configuration is accessible from the menu bar on the main screen – choose Device Modify or right clicking on
the background of the device window.
The delay time available works on a “pool” principle – the maximum delay from any input to output cannot exceed 650.00
mS, so a long delay on the input will restrict the maximum available on any output routed from that input.
There is limited keyboard control on this screen:
Accesses each delay setting in turn (and tabs along top of
edit window).
Accesses each delay setting in turn without selecting other
features in window.
Adjust delay in current step size.
Having selected either “Step Size” or “Units”, change the
selection.
