Requiring passwords is not supported in Transparent mode.
You can add authentication to Int to Ext policies, but not to Incoming policies.
Users can only enter passwords using HTTP, FTP, or Telnet. If users are required to enter a user name and
password to access the Internet, they must connect to the firewall using a web browser, FTP, or Telnet to
enter their user name and password.
Use the following procedures for:
Adding user names and passwords
Setting authentication time out
Adding authentication to a policy
Adding user names and passwords
Go to Firewall > Users .
Click New.
Enter a User Name and Password.
The user name and the password must be at least 6 characters long and can contain numbers (0-9) and
upper and lower case letters (A-Z, a-z), and the special characters - and _. Spaces and the @ character
are not allowed.
Click OK.

Setting authentication time out
To set authentication time out:
Go to System > Config > Options .
Set Auth Timeout to control how long authenticated connections can remain idle before users have to
authenticate again to get access through the firewall.
The default authentication time out is 5 minutes.
Adding authentication to a policy
Once you have added user names and passwords you can add or edit policies to require authentication.
Go to Firewall > Policy .
