If t he produ ct proves defective wit h in the a pplicable warra n t y per iod, D-Link will pr ovide repa ir or
r epla cem ent of the pr odu ct . D-Lin k sh all h a ve t h e sole discret ion whet h er to r epa ir or r epla ce, and
r epla cem ent pr odu ct m ay be n ew or recondit ion ed. Replacement pr oduct sha ll be of equiva lent or
bet t er specifica t ion s, rela t ive t o t h e defect ive pr odu ct, but n eed not be identical. Any pr oduct or pa rt
r epaired by D-Lin k pur suant to this warra n t y shall ha ve a warran t y per iod of not less t h a n 90 days,
from da t e of su ch repair , irr espective of a n y earlier expirat ion of or igin a l war r a nty per iod. Wh en
D-Link provides repla cem ent, t h en t h e defective pr oduct becomes t h e proper t y of D-Lin k.
War r a n t y service m a y be obtain ed by contact ing a D-Lin k office wit h in t h e applicable war r an ty
period, an d requesting a Ret ur n Ma t er ia l Authoriza tion (RMA) nu m ber. If a Registr a tion Card for
th e pr oduct in question ha s not been retur n ed t o D-Link, then a pr oof of purch a se (such a s a copy of
th e dat ed pu r chase invoice) m ust be provided. If P u rchasers cir cu m st a n ces requ ir e specia l h a n dlin g
of warr a nty cor r ection , then a t t h e t ime of requesting RMA n u m ber, P urcha ser m a y a lso propose
special procedu r e a s m a y be su itable to t h e ca se.
After an RMA num ber is issued, t h e defect ive pr oduct m u st be pa ckaged securely in t h e origina l or
ot h er suitable shippin g pa ckage to ensu re that it will n ot be da m aged in tran sit , an d t h e RMA
nu m ber mu st be promin ently m a rked on the ou t side of t he pa ckage. The package m ust be mailed or
ot h er wise sh ipped to D-Lin k with a ll costs of m a iling/shippin g/insu rance pr epaid; D-Lin k will
or din arily r eim bu rse P urcha ser for m ailing/sh ipping/in sura n ce expen ses incurred for ret u rn of
defective product in accor dance wit h t h is war r anty. D-Link shall n ever be responsible for a ny
software, firm wa r e, in format ion, or m em ory data of Pur ch a ser contained in, stored on, or in t egr a t ed
with an y produ ct ret urned to D-Lin k pu r su a n t t o th is war r anty.

P u r ch aser a t Pur ch a sers expen se, an d D-Link r eser ves t h e right in su ch a case to levy a r eason able
