config igmp_snooping
Purpose Used to configurer IGMP snooping on the
switch.
Syntax config igmp_snooping [<vlan_name>/all]
{host_timeout <sec>/router_timeout
<sec>/leave_timer <sec>/state
[enabled/disabled]}
Description This command allows you to configure
IGMP snooping on the switch.
Parameters
<vlan_name> − The name of the VLAN for
which IGMP snooping is to be configured.
host_timeout <sec> − Specifies the
maximum amount of time a host can be a
member of a multicast group without the
switch receiving a host membership report.
The default is 260 seconds.
route_timeout <sec> − Specifies the
maximum amount of time a route will
remain in the switch’s can be a member of
a multicast group without the switch
receiving a host membership report. The
default is 260 seconds.
leave_timer <sec> − Leave timer. The
default is 2 seconds.
state [enabled/disabled] − Allows you to
enable or disable IGMP snooping for the
specified VLAN.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue
this command.
