save
Purpose Used to save changes in the switch’s
configuration to non-volitale RAM.
Syntax save
Description This command is used to enter the current
switch configuration into non-
volitale RAM.
The saved swtich configuration will be
loaded into the switch’s memory each time
the switch is restarted.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue
this command.
Example Usage:
To save the switch’s current configuration to non-volitale RAM:
DES-7000:4#save
Command: save

* Do not power off! *
* *
*********************
Saving all configurations to NV-RAM.......... Done.
